Soledad De Virgilio Counsellor

Soledad

(MCouns, ACA Level 2)

Do you find yourself reacting in ways that don't quite make sense to you: overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck in patterns you can't explain?

Understanding what's actually happening in your body and mind is often the first real step toward feeling steadier.

I welcome clients who are seeking a compassionate and accepting space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I'm particularly drawn to the nervous system as a lens to explain a lot of what feels confusing or frustrating about your own reactions, and it gives us something concrete to work with together.

I Work With: Individuals

Age: Adults

Languages: English | Spanish

I work with people navigating:

Stress & Life Transitions: finding your footing during change.

Anxiety & Depression: using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside other evidence based approaches, suited to your needs.

Nervous System Regulation: building genuine understanding of what's driving your experience, not just naming it.

If you're not sure exactly what to call what you're experiencing, that's a completely normal place to start, we dont need labels to begin.

What working together looks like

My sessions are collaborative and paced carefully, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and building trust at a pace that works for you.

We may explore how early relational patterns continue to show up in your life today, notice body-based signals of safety and threat, and develop more flexible ways of responding to life's challenges. The focus is on stabilisation, integration, and change that actually lasts.

My approach is attachment-informed and trauma-aware with a strong focus on the nervous system and your lived experience.

I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic and experiential approaches.

Many of the people I work with already have a great deal of self-awareness. The missing piece isn't insight, it's finding a way to actually shift things.

Over time, many clients find they feel more grounded, better able to respond rather than react, and more connected to the life they want to live.
