Feeling guilty after setting a boundary is common and doesn't mean you've done something wrong.
Guilt usually shows up because saying no feels unfamiliar, not because it's unkind. State the boundary clearly and briefly, without over-explaining, then let the discomfort settle. It tends to fade with practice.
